A young man, weak in body and mind – lives with his parents who are in rather poor circumstances.
11/05/1860 – 14/11/1862 – to be given such articles of clothing as the Inspector found he required.
13/11/1863 – In accordance with the recommendation of the Visiting Lunacy Commissioner, to get a bed for him that he may sleep apart from his mother.
11/11/1864 – case referred to the Committee of Management.
12/05/1865 – allowance reduced.
10/11/1865 – Inspector from Board of Lunacy had visited in September and was dissatisfied with his condition – was dirty and his clothing indifferent – he and his mother occupying one bed – Had been supplied with a suit of clothing and bed clothes – Board agreed that he was a fit subject for admittance to the Poorhouse and instructed the Inspector to arrange accordingly.
08/02/1867 – given a flannel shirt.
08/05/1868 – imbecile.
13/11/1868 –
14/05/1869 – has cost the Board £175. Inspector to investigate whether there is not some property belonging of right to the foresaid John Drummond.
