Recently hurt in one of the Lochgelly Iron Company’s pits. Had to be sent to the Royal Infirmary. Wife and family became chargeable to the parish. Family ages 11, 5, 3 and 1 years. No residential settlement as they are natives of Ireland.

Agree to give them 4/- per week in the meantime.

07/02/1868 – allowed 6/- per week for two or at the most 3 weeks.
