In many respects the late Mr Phillips was peculiarly well qualified for the situation which he had held for upwards of 20 years – and especially by his amiable temper, and by his excellent Business habits. It was agreed that a copy of this minute be transmitted to Mrs Phillips with an expression of our deep sympathy with her and her family under this heavy bereavement.
