Dairsie Mains. Appointed as the Grave Digger, Cemetery Keeper and Keeper of the Old Chuchyard at the respective sums of 16 pounds, 6 pounds and 4 pounds. He was to start the posts immediately at 29/05/1924 (Page 243) It was agreed that he would recieve an extra payment of 4 shillings for every non-parishoner interred. 16/04/1925 (Page 257) He sent an application to the Parish saying how he was not satisfied with his current pay. The matter was discussed at length and it was agreed to change his pay so that he gets 10 shillings for every grave he digs. He was given 1 pound and 10 shillings as a bonus for graves already dug. 04/06/1925 (Page 260)
