West Fife Hospitals Nurses' League Journal

When it started the League aimed to form a fellowship between past and present nurses who have trained in the West Fife Hospitals.

Later membership was extended to students of Fife College of Nursing and Midwifery and Fife Campus based students of Nursing at the University of Dundee.

Nurses who had trained elsewhere but were working in one of the West Fife Hospitals were eligible to join after several years service. A matron or senior administrator and later nurse manager) could join on appointment.

When the League started, a reunion was organised each September.

The journal was also issued that month and was to include the members names and addresses.

The Journal includes a statement of the League's annual income and expenditure, brief news about each hospital, news about former colleagues, poems, recipes, articles about nursing and holidays.
