The Derby House Commode

Roberts, Hugh
Books, Manuscripts
A copy of an article which shows that in his work to design a new suite of fashionably decorated rooms in Derby House, London, one of the Robert Adam's most famous pieces is the bow-fronted commode in the Countess of Derby's Dressing Room. It is still in existance today and its design well known and familiar to students of Adams furniture.
