This report highlights the work done by Fife Council in conjunction with other agencies, in response to the Scottish Executive's February 2002 action programme to reduce youth crime. Reference is made to the anti-social behaviour bill introduced in the Scottish Parliament in October 2003. Outcomes are assessed in the areas of early intervention; encouraging all children and young people to thrive; giving victims an appropriate place in the youth justice process; increasing public confidence in Scotland's youth justice system; and easing the transition between the youth justice and adult criminal justice systems.
