This comprises 3 items. Item 1 is a typed manuscript of a short play. Set in 1068, the play features Malcolm Canmore and Margaret. The writer is given as Ewan Melville. Item 2 is an assessment by an adjudicator of the SCDA (Scottish Community Drama Association) of a performance of 'Ocean's Happy Calm' by the Randolph Players B Team: here the playwright is named as Melville Hunter. Item 3 is an undated Randolph Players cast list of the play: the playwright is named as Ewan Melville and we are told the play 'was specially written for the Club by one of its original members many years ago'. Both names appear to be noms de plume of Dunfermline-born writer Ian (Melville Logan) Hunter.
