An article taken from the publication 'Good Words,'dated August 1st, 1867. In this article the author compares two great characters of Scotland; Saint Columba, Abbot of Iona at the end of the sixth century and Queen Margaret from the end of the eleventh century. The fact that these two are rich in history is because each had their own biographer, or each "having a poet" as the author describes, who appreciated their virtues and recorded them.
