Some early recollections of John Wayne Robertson, linen-manufacturer. Inclusing his education at Penny-Leddies' School through to Madrac College. In 1878 he began work at the family linen factory as a mechanic. He married Jemima Taylor and together they had three children. He was at the opening of the Forth Bridge. Anonymous note in book states 'Probably written by Mima Robertson' (His wife).
