This pamphlet, printed at the "Press and Advertiser" Steam Printing Works, Dunfermline, consists of testimonials for Mary Kate Penney. Miss Penney, daughter of John Penney, assisted her father in teaching at Culross Public School, and these testimonials speak of her good character and teaching abilities. There are extracts, letters and certificates from school inspectors, Education Dept in London, Culross School Board, ministers of Culross, Newmills factor, Culross ex-Provost, and from those who gave Miss Penney lessons in pianoforte, singing, French and German.
