Theological dissertations by the Reverend John Erskine. John Erskine was born near Dunfermline at Carnock. He was educated at school in Cupar, then later the high school in Edinburgh. During his religious career he held various posts including at Culross. Eventually taking a position at Old Greyfriars Church in Edniburgh where he remained until his death in 1803.
