Kinross House and its associations

Walker, Nancy H.1990
Books, Manuscripts
Probably what is most interesting and important about Kinross House is the fact that during the three hundred years since it was built it has not been structurally altered. It is therefore one of the finest examples of late 17th century architecture in Scotland. By tracing the history of the house over the intervening years, this book highlights the fact that even in the 19th century the house, while being structurally maintained, was not added to or altered, as was common with houses of its type in Victorian times
