Wemyss Magazine Vol. I

1910
Books, Manuscripts
Published to aid the Randolph Wemyss Hospital, Lady Eva Wemyss states in the preface "this magazine owes its existance to the necessities of the Randolph Wemyss Memorial Hospital. The stories and articles which it contains are entirely gratuitous and the work entailed has been to all concerned a labour of love". Vol. 1 contains fictional stories, poems and ballads but also covers various historical topics of interest such as the tramways, linenworks and the naval base at Rosyth. The final section contains many miscellaneous articles by authors such as Randolph Wemyss "Advice to the Would Be Author, Rev A T Grant's "Tour Round My Library" and also "Pictures in Apsley House" by the Duchess of Wellington".
