The Fife Coast Line was the railway that wound its way from Thornton around the coast of Fife to Leuchars, serving the fishing villages of the East Neuk of Fife and the larger towns of St. Andrews and Leven as well as several smaller rural villages along the course of the line. This book tells the story of the Fife Coast Line, from the first sod being cut in 1851 to the final section being closed to passengers in 1969
