These letters and accounts, portraying the life of the young Mackenzies at students at St Andrews in the early years of the eighteenth century come from the large collection of Delvine Papers now preserved in the National Library of Scotland. The letters are mainly those of the tutor or 'governor', James Morice, writing to John Mackenzie of the progress of the twins,Kenneth and Thomas."
