This collection of items consists of a two page letter addressed to Mr. Reid from Mr M. R. Apted of the Inspectorate of Ancient Monuments and Historic Buildings, dated 30th March 1962, and three colour photographs of the painted wall in Abbot House. The letter describes a visit to Abbot House to view the wall painting, the letter gives more detaila about the historic importance of the painting. The three photographs are of the wall painting, there is no indication of the date that these were taken.
