The tragic story of the Tay Bridge, through the long years and incidental disasters of construction, to the brief months of triumph, and on to the final grim aftermath. Faulty in design and construction, the bridge was the responsibilty of one man, Sir Thomas Bouch, who destroyed himself by reaching beyond his abilities.
