A tale about love which has gone too far, obliterating its light and joy with all that is destructive and negative. Trygve, 47, is an unmarried funeral director who lives at home with a mother who bullies and waits on him in equal measure. Her power over her son is based on shame and guilt, two emotions that she has mastered to perfection and used against him in order to achieve her own goals.
