Taylor and Skinner1984
Books, Manuscripts
Facsimile of the maps produced in 1776 by Taylor and Skinner. The maps show the roads of Scotland and include tables of distances, an index of place names. Of particular interest to Fife is the road showing the route from Edinburgh to Dundee, starting in Pittcur harbour then taking the route from Kinghorn to Kirkcaldy, onto Markinch, Balmalcolm, Pitlessie and Cupar. The route continues from Cupar through Kilmenie [Kilmeny] to Woodhaven.
