Scotland Sober and Free was an exhibition to commemorate the foundation of the temperance movement, 1829. It was held at the People's Palace Museum, Glasgow Green, October 1979 - January 1980. Dunfermline Museum was one of the many organisations who loaned objects to the exhibition. This book gives the history of the temperance movement in Scotland and the history of the various temperance societies that were established during that time.
