In 1968, the Church of Scotland and the Keeper of the Records of Scotland agreed to the permanent loan of historic kirk session records of Dunfermline Abbey Church to the Scottish Record Office. Under the agreement, the public would be able to consult the documents at the Record Office and obtain copies of them in return for a fee. This agreement, correspondence relating to it and a list of items deposited are brought together here.
