Photocopies of hand-written minutes from the meetings of 1. the managers apoointed by the School Board of Tulliallan Parish, and 2. the Tulliallan and Kincardine Education Association. The managers' meetings were held in private and much of their minutes deal with interdicts and the Court of Session, with regard to teachers Mr Buchanan and Mr Bryce. Managers who visited Tulliallan Public School had been 'loudly hissed by the scholars in the presence of the Teacher'. The cause of the dispute is not clearly recorded but seems to relate to share of the Government Grant and repair costs incurred by Mr Buchanan. The courts favoured the case of the Board. The second set of minutes is concerned with the setting up of a subscription school in the parish, and includes a list of named subscribers.
