Although Congregationalism's distinct principle of autonomy for individual congregations is affirmed, the role and contribution of other Christian faith groups to the universal Church is acknowledged and the need to co-operate with them recognized. Suggestions are given for promoting missionary work, re-vitalising existing congregations and reaching non-church goers.
