A newsletter which provides information on the Christian Endeavour's open-air meetings, collection takings and elders assigned to their gathering., intimations and the text of three letters, two of which request better attendance at communion services and how this may be achieved. The third describes the Keswick convention, where Scottish Free Church members made a favourable impression on its author. A second issue of this newsletter, probably for September 1900, but undated, follows a similar format. It reports on a very successful picnic held Burrowan Farm attended by 400 people, which included parents and friends. Rev. Alex. Badenoch described the Bible classes and Sabbath evening lectures he had planned. Rumblingwell Mission appealed for Sabbath School teachers. A full list of office-bearers and the areas they covered is given. Both issues have the burning bush crest of the Church of Scotland on the front cover. This includes the motto, Nec Tamen Consumebatur which translates as "Yet it was not consumed".
