Written in response to a request from his grandson, Martin Doig has put together this memoir of the war years in Anstruther. Martin was 6 years old when the second world war began and 12 when it came to an end. Illustrated with photographs of his family from the period. This is not a history of the war but a collection of memories that express what it was to live through the war years in the East Neuk of Fife.
