This is the first year book from the church's newly formed social society. It contains much more than the two pieces of pink blotting paper and calendar for 1921, its title suggests. There is a lively two-page history of the church and an introduction to the society, which provided an opportunity for members of the congregation to meet socially. Included are images of all ministers from 1841, photographs of the social society committee with their names below, another of the frater hall of Dunfemline Monastery ruins and 11 pages of adverts, some illustrated, for local businesses. With the memories of sacrifices made in World War 1 fresh in memories of all who lived through it, this year book contains a list of 44 local men who died in the conflict and photographs of 41. This poignant tribute is completed by a roll of honour which records the names and regiments of local men who were killed and the others who survived.
