This volume follows on from the publication 'Longannet Mining Complex : Of mines and men' and gives a more detailed account of the events at Solsgirth Mine which was part of this complex. The Longannet Mining complex was Scotland's last deep coal mine and was made up of a group of mines - Bogside, Castlehill, Solsgirth, Castlebridge and Longannet. The information in this publication covers the period 1965 to 2002.
