Lewis, George1836
Books, Manuscripts
The author, a tenant in Boglillie, near Kirkaldy, first made his views public regarding experimental farming in 1831 in a communication addressed to The Highland Society of Scotland. Although unsuccessful, his views remained unchanged and following generous sentiments he had heard expressed by the Duke of Buccleuch, he gave a more indepth account of these views to The Highland Society hoping this time to receive a more favourable reception.
