From 1871 through to 1884, this album contains articles and letters mainly from The Scotsman newspaper regarding concerns about the water supply in various Scottish districts. Many of these articles deal with issues connected to the Edinburgh and District Water Bill and the Select Committee set up to deal with concerns. However from Page 162 onwards, there are numerous articles from The Scotsman, Fifeshire Journal and Fife Herald relating to problems with the local supply of water in Fife towns and villages.
