A continuation of Lord Cockburn's first portion of 'Memorials of His Time', which consisted of an unbroken narrative which ended in the year 1830. After this, he recorded occurrences as they arose, which largely coincided with his appointment to the post of Solictor General for Scotland. This volume covers the period 1843-1854.
