The biography of Patrick Hamilton who was a scottish churchman and early protestant reformer. He travelled Europe where he became influenced by Martin Luther and other reformed thinkers. He returned to Scotland to study and later teach at St Andrews University. He was tried as a heretic by Archbishop James Beaton and was burned at the stake in gateway of St Salvator's Church, St Andrews.
