Biography of a distinguished churchman, who ministered at Markinch for 25 years before going to Burntisland in 1616. He believed in church government with bishops, but as Burntisland was a town with strong Presbyterian beliefs, he was continually at odds with his congregation. It eventually led to his removal from office in 1638.
