Two articles regarding the provision of a Doctor to the miners at the Collieries in the Auchterderran area by the mining company. The articles refer to a controversy caused by a change to the way in which the miners paid for the Doctors' fees. The men beleived this controversy to be sparked by the appointment of a new Minister that did not meet the approval of the mining company.
