The Anstruther Lifeboat Station was inaugurated on 18th November 1865 and continues to serve the people of the East Neuk of Fife today. This book tells the history of the lifeboat station and the important role it has played in the lives of the fishing communities of Fife from its beginnings until 1985. A second book has since been produced covering the years 1985-1998.
