William Wallace born in 1270 second son of Sir Malcolm Wallace Laird of Elderslie in Renfrewshire, his mother Margaret de Craufuird daughter of Sir Hugh Craufuird. Contains many facts about including : Wallace leading the Scottish rebellion against Edward I and inflicted a famous defeat on the English army at Stirling Bridge. He is remembered as a patriot and national hero. Tells about Wallace coming Dunfermline to escape his English spies from the Lothians his hiding place the Glen of Pittencrieff.
