This is a printed booklet of Mr Brown's qualifications and application letter for the post of Headmaster of Queen Anne School in 1891. The booklet contains proof of Mr Browns qualifications to teach, and endorsments of Mr Brown's character and abilities from the Principal and lecturers of the Further Education College Glasgow. It includes records of his teaching experience and reports from referees from each school Mr Brown worked in. The booklet also contains reports from HMI inspectors on the performance of the children in Wellwood School from 1881 - 1891 whilst he was headmaster there. At the back of the booklet are two hand written letters by Mr and Mrs Brown to support Mr Brown's application.
