Collection of the works of John Campbell Shairp. The writings published here are a combination of papers written for academic publication and lectures prepared during his role as chair od Poetry at Oxford. Between 1857 and 1877 John Campbell Shairp served in various roles at the University of St. Andrews, including Principal of the university.
