A biography of the Scottish scholar, theologian and religious reformer Andrew Melville. Andrew Melville studied at the University of St. Andrews before going on to travel and study in Europe. On his return he held positions at the University of Glasgow and Aberdeen before becoming Principal of St. Mary's College at St. Andrews in 1580 and becoming Rector of the University in 1590.
