Saint Andrew's day is the last day of November and is aid to have been dedicated to the Aposle because it was the traditional date of his martyrdon at Patrae in 68 AD, when he was cracified on a cross shaped like an X. This booklet describes St Andrew's Day and Contains some poetry Saint Andrew's Flag in Poetry, The Flags to Fly, The Lion Pampant and a brief bibliography of books on The National Flags and Symbols. There is also a list of Office-Bearers of The Saint Anddrew Society (Glasgow) and some information about it.
