Rev. George H. Forbes states his case for baptisms being done by immersion under water, coming out of this water, he likens to being born out of a womb. He does not believe that a simple sprinkling of water over the head can truly cleanse the soul: The whole body must be immersed in water, for a total cleansing the person of sins, "and does not again need such a total cleansing". * Shelved at 4/FOR.
