Bound volume of weekly concert programmes taking place in parks in and around Dunfermline during the 1914 summer season, mostly by the Dunfermline Carnegie Band in Pittencrieff Park. Lists band members and instruments played. Interestingly the programmes differentiate between Pittencrieff Park and Pittencrieff Glen-probably different bandstands. Also listed are events such as the Rose show and the unveiling of the Carnegie statue at which a choir also performed and on which day the band concert was dedicated to the Sexcentenary of the Battle of Bannockburn. Other specially devised programmes include American Indepence Day and Empire Day. For the first time there is a price on the cover of each programme.
