Calotype is an early photographic process in which negatives were made using paper coated with silver iodide. It was introduced in 1841 by William Talbot. In this book, Thomas Rodger uses this technique to produce beautiful full-page images of Fife. These are accompanied by short chapters detailing information about the area and history surrounding the image. The subjects of this volume are in central and east Fife.
