This volume illustrates the decay of Jewish power and has Jesus, the "Son of David," as it's central figure. "Adina," the fictitious writer, is a beautiful, accomplished Jewish maiden. Assumed to be resident in Jerusalem during the closing years of our Lords life on earth, she sends letters to her father describing the events of that transcendent period.
