These papers form part of the Peebles Papers Donation, and consist of articles and correspondence connected to W Murdo Mackenzie who was Chief Librarian of Dunfermline Public Library between 1907 and 1919. He was also Honorary Secretary of the Scottish Library Association. There are typewritten and handwritten items, including a handwritten draft of a letter to Andrew Carnegie.
