Each report contains a list of the trustees, the annual report and the abstract of accounts for the year. The last annual report was published for 1939, a decision was taken in 1940 to suspend the report as the activities of the trust had been drastically curtailed by the war and the accompanying emergency and economic measures. The hope had been to wait for more settled times, however the trustees decided that a short report should be prepared to cover the years 1940-44, this is the 1944 Annual report. This set of reports covers an interesting period in history and although short in length they are revealing of the effects of the war on the home front.
