Two texts on the life and death of James VI and I reprinted for the Maitland Club. The Maitland Club was a Scottish historical and literary club and text publication society, typically printing copies of historical texts for distribution to their members. The first text featured is 'Chronicon Jacobi Primi, Regis Scottorum' and is in Latin. the text also features two poems written in Scots. The second text is 'The Dethe of the Kynge of Scotis' and is a translation from latin of a text written at the time the events occured.
