A reprint of the famous 'Works in Architecture' produced 1773-1779. The second of three volumes is written in both English and French. This book contains many plates and their explanations and covers: the house of the Earl of Derby in Grosvenor Square, the house of Sir Watkin Williams Wynn in St James' Square, the house of the Earl of Shelburne in Berkeley Square, the seat of the Duke of Northumberland at Sion and various designs of public and private buildings.
