Connected with the Order of Cistercian Monks, the Priory of Coldstream was one of eleven Convents and thirteen Monasteries in Scotland. The Priory or Cistercian Convent stood at the point where the stream of Leet joins the Tweed in the ancient parish of Lennel, Berwickshire.
