An acccount of the water supply to Dunfermline. The earliest supplies of water to the residents of the Burgh was undoubtedly from wells, springs and burns and the Wallace Spa well in the Glen. This volume traces the development from circa 1721 for the supply and piping of water to the Burgh, the various sources considered, the routes and method of supply to best serve the district.
